Gramigna ODV is an Italian Association that offers social inclusion and Sustainable Development for disadvantaged people in social farming (refugee, migrants, people with psychiatric disorders, prisoners).
We develop educational projects for people and for schools on environmental sustainability issues, rural development, and social integration. We work on cooperation with local, national and international partners.
The Gramigna ODV promotes Sustainable Development, inclusion, empowerment, employability, informal learning, restorative practices, diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue,
common values of freedom, tolerance, and respect for human rights as well as aims on enhancing media literacy, critical thinking and sense of initiative of young people.
Gramigna ODV creates a common understanding of those who may be considered as young people with fewer opportunities and a coherent framework of support for the Erasmus+ programme feature "Equity and Inclusion". Gramigna ODV will present international youth project activities as concrete and realistic opportunities also for staff and young people with special needs or fewer opportunities.
Gramigna ODV invests in the intercultural and social skills of young people and youth workers as well as their competences to manage and work with diversity in all its forms. Gramigna ODV promotes Erasmus +: as a tool to work with young people with fewer opportunities and actively reach out to disadvantaged groups.
Gramigna ODV offers social inclusion in social farming and in urban regeneration for the most disadvantaged people, empowerment, the policy of rural development, urban social gardening for all citizens, non-formal education in rural and in the food and wine sector, territorial network building of active citizenship, human rights, EU values, mobility cultural exchange, promotion and protection of social economic and environmental sustainability, urban and landscape regeneration, promotion and protection of biodiversity. Entrepreneurship, employability, and skill development in social farming.
In Italy we manage social gardens in the city of Benevento and social garden in the prison of Eboli.
